Comms
Announcements go out on a group chat where they scroll away, and the person who joined last week never sees the policy everyone assumes they read.

01
Announcements, chat and notifications run on the same identities as everything else — no second directory to keep in step, and no ex-employee still sitting in a channel.
02
Helpdesk is an internal queue with a status and an owner, so “I raised it with someone” becomes a ticket with a state.
03
Mail is caught and kept per workspace, so what the system sent somebody is auditable rather than a claim.
What is in Comms
Chat
Realtime conversations over WebSockets with attachments.
Messages and attachments inside the workspace.
Helpdesk
Internal tickets with threaded comments.
Announcements
Targeted company-wide posts.
Notifications
In-app, Web Push and email from one event, per preference.
What it does not do

This is not a chat product. It is enough to ask a colleague about a record without leaving it; it will not replace a dedicated messenger.
No external community or customer portal here — the client desk in Business is deliberately a separate queue with different privacy rules.
